Skirt's 6th studio album and second record this year! This new EP 'Surf Stories' is the thematic sequel to 2016's EP 'Sex Stories' and was recorded during the coronavirus lockdown at StandYourSound Studios Brighton. The album was written and recorded by only Mike and Michelle, with some drums being recorded separately by Jens. The heavy punk-metal guitars take a backseat on this record, with all kinds of keyboards, pianos, stylophones and glockenspiels taking center stage. All were performed by the two Ms, alongside most of the drum tracks, which were played or programmed by Mike. Skirt member Maq was not able to participate on this EP due to the lockdown.

As with all Skirt releases, the album is best appreciated in physical form and is available as a hyper-sexy surf-vibe slimline digipak and cassette (coming soon)! Designed by D Sulmaya for DharmaAfterDark
